This is an old revision of the document!
The 2012 Nuclear Astrophysics Town meeting was held on October 9-10, 2012 in Detroit, Michigan. 150 scientists participated and provided a wealth of material for a white paper laying out a vision for Nuclear Astrophysics.
The working group reports and presentations have been published on this wiki.
A first draft of a white paper is now available: pdf of White Paper
Note that figures are missing, and the formatting is not final. There are also no recommendations yet.
We are now seeking input from the community. Please send comments and text suggestions to your working group conveners or to Hendrik Schatz (email@example.com) prior to August 1, 2014.
Final discussions of the white paper will take place at the APS/DNP Town Meeting for Nuclear Astrophysics, which will be held jointly with the APS/DNP Town meeting for the Study of Nuclei on August 21-23 at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas as part of the NSAC Nuclear Science Long Range Plan (LRP) process. Our white paper will be used as input for the NSAC LRP.
